In 2024, modular design becomes the new trend of outdoor cooking equipment. CampChef, a well-known American outdoor brand, launched the ModuGrill modular grill, which quickly became popular in Europe and the United States by virtue of its flexibility and multifunctionality.

ModuGrill's design concept is to allow users to freely combine the functional modules of the grill according to their needs. The basic modules include a charcoal grill, a gas grill and a smoker box, and users can add additional modules such as a pizza oven, a frying pan or even a cooler. This design not only saves space, but also meets different cooking needs.

The ModuGrill was inspired by consumer demand for a versatile outdoor cooking device,” said Mike Johnson, CampChef's chief product officer. Whether it's a family gathering or a camping trip in the wilderness, this grill can handle it with ease.”

The ModuGrill retails for $499 for the base kit, with additional modules costing between $50 and $150. Since its launch in March 2024, more than 50,000 units of the product have been sold in the U.S. and Europe.
